Korell Safe Harbor Therapy
CERTIFIED EMDR THERAPIST
Healing happens in relationships. Through trauma-focused, attachment-based therapy, you'll find a place to feel seen, understood, and supported as you move toward lasting change.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Attachment-Focused Therapist & Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Trauma can affect how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. It can leave you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck. At Korell Safe Harbor Therapy, healing begins with a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, understood, and empowered to reconnect with your resilience.
For almost 2 decades, Libby has helped women, children, and families navigate the effects of trauma. As a social worker, she understands that healing is shaped by the relationships, communities, and systems that influence our lives. Therapy offers a place to explore those experiences, strengthen connections, and build greater trust in yourself.
THERAPY PHILOSOPHY
Healing Happens Through Connection
You are not a problem to be fixed.
The ways you've learned to protect yourself, cope, adapt, and survive often make perfect sense in the context of what you've experienced. Therapy begins with understanding those adaptations with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
Grounded in attachment theory and a relational approach, this work focuses on helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create new patterns that support the life you want to live. Healing doesn't happen because someone gives you all the answers. It happens through connection, self-discovery, and the belief that change is possible.
And while trauma therapy involves meaningful, sometimes difficult work, there is always room for humanity, humor, and moments of lightness along the way.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT LIBBY
When she's not in the therapy room, you'll likely find Libby spending time with her grown children and family, enjoying long conversations with friends, or working with Ruby, her assistant therapist-in-training.
She believes life is beautifully messy, healing is rarely linear, and that some of the most meaningful moments happen when people feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are.
At the heart of this work is a deep sense of gratitude. It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate difficult experiences, discover their own strengths, and move toward healing with courage and authenticity.
